By adding accurate tags and descriptive keywords, you’ll help users discover artworks by theme, subject, colour, or style—improving how the collection can be explored and appreciated online.

What's involved?
We need you to:

View digital images of artworks from Oldham Gallery on the Art UK website.

Add accurate descriptive tags and keywords reflecting each artwork’s content, subject, and style.

Improve searchability by identifying themes, colours, objects, or people in the artworks.

Flag artworks with unclear or missing details for further review.

Record your progress and stay in touch with the Volunteer Coordinator for updates and support.
