Oldham Library are looking for a team of Front of House volunters to support the live@thelibrary staff during their christmas production run of ‘Hansel and Gretel' performed at live@thelibrary in Oldham over the festive season and we will welcome lots of families and audience members from across Oldham and beyond.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to work alongside our front of house staff and support us to make their experience magical!
Volunteers will help guard the set in the theatre as audience members arrive and find their seats, assist by starting seating from the back to the front.
During the show, volunteers can watch the performance from a designated chair down the side if seating is limited and also guard the set during the interval and as the audience leaves, and say goodbye and thank them for coming.

We will need you to:
Attend a Briefing Including:

Instructions on seating guidance (back to front)

Set guarding procedures before, during interval, and after the show

Volunteer positioning and safety protocols

How to engage politely with the audience
Time Commitment:

Arrive 45 minutes before the show for briefing and preparation

Total time commitment: approximately 2.5 hours per show

Show length is around 1.5 hours
Before and After the Show:

Volunteers are needed 45 minutes before the show begins
-
Assistance required for up to 15 minutes after the show ends
